What's a visit to Perth without the beaches? The empty beaches and open ocean are, after all, among our favourite things there. Sharks not included.
We first went to our favourite Sorrento Quay at Hilarys, where the shallow water at the harbour was perfect for ahem...our budding Surfer Dude.
Next, Cottesloe Beach where there was the ongoing Sculpture by the Sea. Surfer Dude takut big waves rupanya. Surfer Jr had no reservations though.

ReplyDeleteyes! datangler honeymoon.hee hee! anyway they have this Sculpture by the Sea every year in march, and it was interesting cos the beach was littered with big sculptures, placed haphazardly. there was even one bubble-looking sculpture in the sea near the shore. it was a perfect photo op, but with a backpack and trying to catch ilyas yang asik nak merangkak to the sea, i couldn't capture them all..so sayang!
